An informative awareness session on the importance of eco labelling for exporters to Europe was held at the Galadari Hotel. Experts from a multitude of organisations including the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), UN Environment Programme (UNEP), Nordic Swan Ecolabel, The Planters’ Association of Ceylon and Nippon Paint Lanka were present at the event. This valuable and insightful discussion was organized to help companies get certified by a globally recognized sustainable certification and thereby help them to achieve European market share & stand out from the competition.
